THANK YOU FOR AN OUTSTANDING 2013 RACE!!!!

Wow, what a year. We had 841 runners this year, and everyone had a blast. We are very proud to have raised over $21,000 this year, all of which goes to the North Canton Elementary and Intermediate School PTO/PTA. Thanks to Mr. Hartenstine, the North Canton School Board, Mr. Ile, Mr. Donaldson, Mr. Breit, and Mrs. Manse for your help and support. We will see you next April for our THIRD ANNUAL Viking Victory Run 5K and Kids Fun Run!

The Viking Victory Run is a 5K race, and 1 mile Kids Fun Run, that benefits the North Canton Elementary School PTO and PTA organizations. Our goal is to promote fitness in our students and their families. All proceeds from our race will be split evenly amongst the four elementary school PTO/PTA groups, to help fund programs such as field trips, enrichment classes, smart boards, and much more! Our inaugural event in 2012 raised over $17,000 for the PTO and PTA groups. Our goal for 2013 is $20,000.

This year's race will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at North Canton Memorial Stadium. The races will start on 7th Street, and finish on the track at North Canton Memorial Stadium. We hope to pack the stands with a cheering crowd, to urge our runners to the finish line!

The Kids Fun Run, presented by Utterback Dental Group, will feature a raffle for the runners. For every $10 raised by the child, they will earn a ticket for one of our many prizes. The more you raise, the more chances you have to win! The Kids Fun Run kicks off at 2:00 PM.

The 5K Race, presented by For Paws Blue Cross Animal Hospital, will be a part of the Ohio Challenge Series, with trophies given out to top finishers in several age categories. The 5K winds through the neighborhoods around the school, and will have an awesome finish line on the track! Because we are using the track, there are NO strollers or pets allowed in either the race or the Fun Run. The 5K kicks off at 3:00 PM, with awards to follow at 4:00 PM.

All runners, in both the Kids Fun Run and 5K, will receive a t-shirt!
